A pioneer and creative leader with 25 years of experience in media relations, marketing, sponsorships, entertainment/VIP services, strategic partnerships, special events, social media, and celebrity initiatives for top media companies and Fortune 500 brands.
In 1996, Greg founded Stylefile, acting as a liaison between fashion designers and high-profile celebrities, stylists, editors, agents, managers, and publicists from Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. He worked with Gianni Versace, Louis Vuitton, Emanuel Ungaro, Donna Karan, and many others to coordinate celebrities for fashion shows, personal appearances, advertising campaigns, and major award show outfits.
In 2004, Greg co-founded Fingerprint Communications, with offices in New York and Los Angeles, and remote locations in Miami, Washington DC, and Chicago. Fingerprint Communications became one of the top fashion, hospitality, and consumer goods public relations and event marketing companies in the country. Clients included Lia Sophia Jewelry, Polaroid, Diesel, Maxim, Starwood, Conde Nast, Hearst, Volkswagen, Verizon, and Express. They created annual events around Sundance, the Superbowl, Malibu, The Academy Awards, and the Upfronts for clients such as Lucky Magazine, Hugo Boss, Chrysler, Estee Lauder, Maxim, Polaroid, Entertainment Weekly, and W Magazine.
In March 2010, Greg partnered with Carol Bell to form BrandLink Communications, establishing it as one of the top fashion, hospitality, and consumer goods public relations and event marketing agencies with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington D.C. Clients included Diesel, Patron, Starwood, Stella & Dot, Too Faced Cosmetics, Hearst, Rodale, HSN, and Bai Water.
Some of Greg’s career highlights include working with Drybar for five years, growing the company from 15 stores to 65 stores and selling it in 2019 for $255M in cash. He launched Rickland Orchards' organic yogurt products, which sold for $50M in two years. He handled the publicity and marketing for Too Faced Cosmetics, which was bought by a private equity firm for $500M and then sold to Estee Lauder for $1.5B a year later. He managed the public relations and event marketing for Bai Brands leading up to its $1.7B sale to Dr. Pepper Snapple in 2017. He executed the celebrity and influencer social media outreach for Lokai, growing the company to $50M in annual sales. He oversaw public relations and events for Patron Spirits for four years, helping them maintain leadership in the premium tequila category, leading to Bacardi's $5.1B acquisition in 2018.
Greg Link is also an entrepreneur who invests in and consults with high-profile CPG brands such as Poppi, Magic Mind, and Cann. He is an ambassador for the Head for the Cure and the Glioblastoma Research Organization. He is dedicated to accelerating the world’s transition to renewable energy as an investor and executive at Breezy Point Energy.
